The girls and I headed off for a road trip last Monday evening. We drove until about 10:30 pm and then checked in to a hotel Monday night. Tuesday we were off by 8:00 am and drove all day until we finally reached our destination. We were going to Southern California to spend the week with Mark's sisters and kids. What a great time, but we definitely made it into a road trip.

Wednesday we headed to Malibu to spend the day at the beach.

Thursday we drove to Hollywood and Beverly Hills where we went to the Kodak Theater, Chinese Theater, and Rodeo Drive (baby). Pretty funny as we drove into Hollywood Tori had her window rolled down yelling, "Welcome to Hollywood". We also sang "Beverly Hills" as we drove through there.

On Friday Emma, Tori, and I drove to Disneyland. We only spent one day there and really pushed ourselves to get as much as we could done in both parks. Needless to say, by 12:00 am we were exhausted.

Saturday we drove to Carpenteria to visit my friend from college. I hadn't seen her for six years and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family.
Sunday we got up and drove all the way home. What a long drive. The girls were troopers and didn't lose it once. Emma played her DS most of the way while Tori watched her. The watched a couple of movies and some iCarly shows also.

I'm glad you guys had fun. I see that you went to some of the places I had mentioned too. Those are some great tourist sites. And Rodeo Dr is so much fun. And the crazies on Hollywood Blvd are hilarious. Glad you guys had fun.
Looks like you guys packed a lot into a short trip but had a great time. I'm counting down the days til you make it this way!
Great pics! You really packed a lot into a short amount of time. Lots of good memories and and I am sure you are glad you decided to go. Less to worry about if you leave for vacation in a couple of hours.
