What a great day. We had church in the park this morning. . .very fun. The sound was sort of crazy. The stage is known as a half shell. It makes all of the sound come forward so it was really hard to hear myself. It was very cool to stand outside in a very beautiful place singing a song called "Marvelous Light". After the service we had a BBQ and then a softball game. Emma and Mark both played in the softball game. Emma was pretty excited about the game because she got a couple of hits and made a play at 3rd base. On the way home we saw Tori's teacher on the freeway. The girls thought that was so cool.
When we got home the girls helped my mom cut corn off of the cob and then bag it up to freeze. We have lots of corn so it will be good to enjoy the corn year round. I get some, right mom?
We then were off for one more creek walk with
Cheryl and the girls. More than likely that will be our last creek walk. It has been a fun adventure. And yet again, I slipped and fell in. There has got to be some sort of award for the most times falling into the creek. :)

Hope you were able to move okay this morning. Thanks for going with us on the creek walk..we can try and hold onto summer for as long as possible!
The creek walks sound like fun. I know Lauren thought it was great. Church outside sounds like a nice change.
Sounds like a wonderful day! Jason was excited that he saw you guys on the freeway. Today he said that Tori asked if he could see what you guys were drinking in the car. He said that her eyes lit up when she told him they were shakes from Sonic! I love "Marvelous Light." I play the baby grand on the worship team at church and it's one of my favs.
Yes, you get some corn. Jim did some more today, so we will have plenty!
