No longer home alone

Mark and the girls have returned from a father/child campout. Friday after school Mark and Lonnie and 4 excited girls left for the weekend. Cheryl and I stood and waved as they drove away in the RV with "sad, long faces". Actually, Lonnie had Mark stop and told us to try to look more sad. As they drove away I tried to only jump a tiny bit for joy oh wait . . . it was a jump of sadness as I was going to miss them dearly.

So they have returned. Tori already has taken a nap and Emma and I have completed homework and looked at the 300 some pictures she had taken. Many were very good.

Emma's favorite memory from the weekend is looking for crawdad's in the river. While Emma was looking for crawdad's she slipped on a rock and fell into water chest deep and twisted her ankle. Like mother like daughter.

Tori's favorite part of the weekend was seeing the crawdad's and pretty much having freedom to explore where ever she wanted.

I wonder why this has to be an annual event....wouldn't monthly be great?

Sounds like they had a great time! Reading your post kinda makes me wish we were still on summer vacation.....(sigh).

They all look comfy in the motor home. Did they get any sleep?
