I am officially done with school for this school year. The kids last day was Friday. I was able to pick up the girls and then we stood and waved to the buses as they pulled out of the parking lot. It is a tradition each year, and I do enjoy waving, knowing I have a break for a little while. I got a chance to take Tori's picture with her 1st grade teacher. She has really enjoyed the school year and will miss him.
Friday also was my mom's last day of work. She is officially retired from work although, I have a feeling she will be working even more now. We went to the Mexican restaurant to celebrate.Even though the kids were gone Friday, I needed to tear apart my classroom, put things away and clean. I finally finished that project this morning. Next, is the house, which right now I am avoiding. I am hoping to have a garage sale on Saturday with my mom. My grandma is going to move in with her, so we are sure to have some stuff to sell.

Congrats on being done. Lauren's last day is tomorrow. I'm looking forward to summer.
Only 1 more day for me!!!!!!!!!!!! I get to do all that fun cleaning up (and some end of the year sped paperwork too) tomorrow. Then I need to tackle the house as well - what an exciting summer vacation!
I too am excited for a break, especially knowing that Jason has a teaching position for next year! I sure am going to miss not being able to have Tori in my room. That is really exciting for your mom and I am glad you got a chance to help her celebrate.
