Baseball, Watermelon, and a New Bike

I'm never really caught up on this blog so I thought I would fill you in with some stories from the last few days. Last night was the girl's last baseball and softball game. I'll miss watching them play, but I am so ready to have our evenings free again. We have had baseball Mon-Thurs. since the end of April. Both Emma and Tori enjoyed playing and they never once said that they wanted to quit.
On our way home from a game or practice last week, I can't remember, I stopped at a local fruit stand. Tori asked me to buy a watermelon. She picked it out and told me she had found a juicy one. She was right, when we cut it open, it was very juicy. There is just something about watermelon that says summer and I love how Tori can get the juice everywhere.
The reason I haven't blogged much in the last week is because I have been helping my mom go through my grandma's stuff in her apartment. My grandma moved in with my mom so there has been a lot of stuff to get organized. We decided to have a garage sale and had it last weekend. We did awesome. We were able to get rid of so much stuff. Anyway, on Saturday, our second day of the garage sale, the neighbors had a garage sale too. When I got there, they had an 18 speed bike just perfect for Emma for $20.00. I bought it for her. I figured I was getting a deal, because Tori is really ready for the bigger bike and so was Emma. So for $20.00, Emma has a new bike and Tori gets Emma's bike. Emma loved the new bike. It is taking a little bit for her to get used to since it only has hand brakes. Although, she loves that she can pedal backwards now.

That bike looks so nice...what a find. I am so glad all the girls love to ride their bikes :)

Yay that softball is over...now your summer can really begin.

Thanks for all your help with the garage sale!! Could not have done it without your help.

Watermelons equal summer. They seem to taste better on a hot day. Love the "new" bike.

I wished I knew you guys were having a yard sale last weekend. Kristina and I spent the whole day going to yard sales and shopping. That would have been fun to come down to yours! I didn't know the girls were both playing ball. How fun for them both.
