Had a blast the weekend of 4th of July. Relaxed and just had fun. Lonnie, Cheryl and the girls came with us to my dad's. Mark was able to get the time off work to come with us.

Emma playing dodgeball with my cousin Brandon.

Aubrey holding baby Ysabelle.

A break in the shade.
Friday we BBQ at my dad's. My aunt Cathy and my aunt Shela were both able to make it. Cathy's kids were there; Brandon with his wife Angie and their daughter; Angie and her husband Jason; and Janna with her son. My brother and his wife with their kids were also there. My brother's sister in law and family were also there. We had a great day and all the kids, there were 12, all had a great time together. Emma was the oldest and felt a little "grown up" compared to the other kids. She did a lot of sitting with me listening to the adults chat. I remember being about her age and wanting to hang out with the grown ups and listening to what they were saying.
Saturday we took a bike ride while the boys golfed and then spent the afternoon in the pool. All of the girls are turning into little fish. Tori is all over the place. She forgets that she can't touch everywhere, but she seems to remember what to do it she ends up over her head.

Sunday we played put put golf. Fun, maybe more for the adults. Emma was getting a little frustrated because the first hit is pretty hard and different then really golfing. Tori liked it at first, but by the 12th hole was ready to be done. After golf we went to the lava cave. I LOVE the cave. Emma was pretty scared the whole way. She really doesn't like the dark and kept worrying were everyone was and how they were going to find their way. This was funny to me because the cave is one big long tunnel with only one way in and one way out. She finally began to relax when we were about 1/2 of the way out. Tori on the other hand was a little nervous going in, but was leading us and calling it a "treasure hunt" not long after we were in. After the cave we went to dinner. Shoji's was Tori's favorite experience out of the whole trip. She loved it. At first she was afraid because she watched the chef make fire at another table so she pulled her chair way back. The workers at the restaurant gave her a bad time but tried to encourage her to watch. By the time our meal was cooked she was hooked. I've never seen her eat so much. Before we left she told us "I'm going to work here." After dinner we went swimming again. Great fun.

You really got some great pictures! Makes me want to go back to your dad's house sooner than later. Thanks again for such a great extended weekend.
Cute golf pictures of the girls, and I LOVE their shades...they look so grown up with them! If your girls loved picking the raspberries with you they will LOVE the blueberries...the picking is so easy and they are the cheapest in the county at Haven Blueberry farms. They are out by the Romantic River Gardens in the Tyee area. We live in Green and it only took about 25 min. to get there...check out their website at http://www.thehavenfarm.com/Default.aspx Kristina even went back again this morning to pick!
