Family Reunion

Warning: Lots of pictures
It has been 19 years since grandpa's family on my mom's side has had a reunion. I was 14 the last time I saw any of these relatives. My grandfather, my mom's dad, had a twin sister and a younger brother. His twin sister had 4 children. They were all at the reunion. Some of their families were there also. My grandfather had 3 children. My mom, her older sister, and her younger brother were also at the reunion.
This is my cousin, she is my mom's older sister's daughter, and grandma.
My mom really enjoyed having her grandkids with her.
I spent a lot of time with my own brother and sister since we don't see each other very often either. I wish we spent more time together.
Emma really enjoys spending time with Laura. We are glad she will be living in the states now.
This is Emma with my brother's daughter.
Emma and Tori with my brother's daughter.
This is my brother's son. We met for dinner on Friday night. Then Saturday a bunch of us went to the zoo. My uncle's son, Mom's younger brother, his wife and 2 girls met us at the zoo.
My brother and his wife and 2 kids and my mom's cousin, her son, wife, and 2 children went also. We didn't stay together the whole time, but had a nice lunch together. Here are some of the kids all walking together.
Emma and Tori really enjoyed the zoo. Tori's favorite part was watching the sea lions and polar bears. When we got to the polar bear exhibit, the polar bear was walking toward the back of the display into a tunnel, probably his cave or entrance to another part of the exhibit. We were all standing by the glass when all of a sudden the bear came running out of the tunnel and jumped into the water that was right in front of us. It made Tori's day. She kept talking about it and was one of the first things she told Mark about when we got home on Sunday. I of course didn't get a picture of the polar bear, but here is one of the sea lions. That is Emma's silhouette.
Another highlight of the zoo was seeing the elephants. They were out in the yard and the keeper was having them do a few tricks for us. Very cool. The tallest Asian elephant in North America is at this zoo. He was so tall.
After the zoo we went to a park for the rest of the reunion. There was a playground and all of the kids had a great time playing with each other.
