Happy Birthday Emma - Today Emma's birthday. She has been looking forward to this day for a while. She is becoming such a young lady. Such a helpful, caring girl most of the time. I have really enjoyed the times we have spent lately just talking. She really cares deeply for the people she loves and I enjoy listening to her talk about the people she cares about.Seems crazy to me that it was 10 years ago that the doctor was placing her in my arms. The last 10 years have been amazing, wonderful, scary, and frustrating. I know that I haven't always made the best choices when it comes to Emma. Sometimes being so alike causes such tension. But I wouldn't change it for the world. I absolutely cherish this girl.

Happy Birthday Emma! I too can not believe that you are 10 YEARS OLD TODAY! You were only two days old the first time we met :) You are a wonderful girl and I treasure all the years of memories with you.
Maybe you could slow down the next ten for your mom and I. These first 10 came fast.

Michelle - If someone didn't question the choices they have made in raising their children, I think there would be something wrong with them. Knowing that each decision is made out of complete care, concern, and love for your child means you are doing a great job being a parent. Your girls are lucky!
