Emma got to have her first slumber party for her birthday this year. We really didn't have much of a birthday party for Emma last year, so she has been dreaming and planning this slumber party for about 300 days. She invited 3 friends to come over Friday night. We started the evening eating at Taco Bell and then went to see the new "Hannah Montana" Movie. By the way, it is a pretty good movie. After the movie we headed home. The girls basically played and were really loud the rest of the night. I had strawberries, oranges and whipped cream for them to eat. I don't know what I was thinking, but it sure didn't take them long to put whipped cream, first on their own faces, and then on each other. A got L in the face pretty good and then washed her hair for her.They finally settled down at about 1:00 am after some encouragement from me. I then went to bed. They say they went to sleep after 2:00 am.
The next morning I made sticky buns for them and then we headed down to Cheryl's for a Easter egg hunt. After which, all the girls then went home. Mark and Emma both then took naps Saturday afternoon.

Sounds like you had a great birthday celebration, Emma. Making and having those kinds of memories with friends are the best. I am glad that you had a great time.
