Friday started out with a phone call at 5:18 am. "No school, snow day!!" When I got Emma and Tori up later and they found out there was no school they were really disappointed. They both wanted to wear their PJs to school. Their elementary school was doing a PJ day. Emma said they hadn't done that in all her years at school and was pretty sure they will never do it again. Finally the excitement of the snow on the ground took over and we were out to play. Emma, Tori, and I had a pretty good snowball fight and then made a snowman.
Later that day we headed down to Alyssa's birthday party. Cheryl had planned gingerbread houses out of graham crackers that she had all prepared and in individual baggies for each girl. They all had a blast decorating their houses. Emma of course was very systematic in her decor. Tori loved that her teacher and his wife were there. Her teacher's wife helped her and she loved the attention. They are both such neat people. Thank you both. The birthday party was a huge success. Thank you Cheryl for all the extra work you put into Alyssa's party.

Though this was only a week ago it sure seems like a while ago since it has been so busy. Thanks for all your help with the parties...I so appreciate it!
The picture from your house in the snow and how you put that in your layout looks great. I got Photoshop elements for Christmas and have started the tutorials.
