Last year Cheryl did a December Daily Album. She scrapbooked a page for every day in December. I was really impressed with it and how it made you stop and focus on the details especially when this time of year gets so busy. I don't know if I will get a page scrapbooked each day, but I definitely am going to try to document each day using the blog. I may have to play catch up once in a while, but I'm going to try.Edited:
I didn't have time yesterday to go into details about the first day in December. So here are a few of the details. It really was an eventful day full of surprises and craziness. First, our school was vandalized over Thanksgiving. Luckily, we were able to clean up most of it and cite the people who did it. Second, I had taken my class to a downstairs computer lab. I was helping a student when I heard this noise. It kind of sounded like someone had dropped thousands of beads on a hard floor. I looked out the door into the hallway and saw a dark, black stinky liquid pouring down the sides of the hall from top to bottom and the floor was beginning to fill up. I thought maybe it was sewer. I got my students to turn off the computer and evacuate out through a classroom that is connected to the lab and go outside. We ended up being outside for about 20 minutes. Luckily it was the end of the day and the students were just going home. As I was finishing up unplugging computers, I found out that the dark liquid was water coming out of a pipe that had broke. This pipe is for the fire sprinkler system. It made for an interesting day. Needless to say our custodians were very busy between water cleanup and graffiti clean up. Lastly the girls got a phone call from a friend that had moved at the beginning of the school year that they were moving back. The youngest was thrilled that her friend will be back at school with her and can see her more often.

I think that's a great idea. I remember seeing Cheryl's scrapbooks and it was great focusing on the daily happenings in such a busy time of year! Really makes you keep your focus. Looking forward to yours!
