Potato Poppin'

So I thought I would really make dinner tonight. I had planned to make a meatloaf and some baked potatoes. Fancy cooking for me. I got everything ready, put it in the oven, set the timer for 1 hour and off I went to do some other things. With about 6 minutes to go, I hear Mark say something about my cooking, but I sort of ignore him since he often has some comment about my cooking. I then hear him a little louder with astonishment in his voice. I head to the kitchen and expect to see something burning. Instead, I see a potato that is a shell of itself. The entire potato has popped. Potato is every where and the only thing still on the rack is the skin. Pretty funny. Mark did enjoy eating the skin. It was like potato skins. Who would know that a potato could explode in your oven. I didn't.

I love the colors of fall and the pumpkin patch.

I have had a potato explode in the oven before. I am sure Mark will not be surprised by that. Pretty funny though...and because you are such a great blogger you remembered to take a picture BEFORE cleaning up!

Cute layout...maybe we will get some good pics tomorrow.

Okay, this potato popping is too funny! Shouldn't you know these types of things being a science teacher and all! *wink*

Anyway, sounds like something I would do! Hope dinner turned out okay after all! *smile*

Where are you getting such cute layouts? Do you print them out for your scrapbooks? I might actually do something with my thousands of photos if it were on the computer.
