Tonight while eating dinner, the rain and wind picked up outside. All of a sudden you could hear the rain hitting the windows and pieces of the dead tree hitting the side of the house. It only got louder and we could actually see the kitchen window move.
I'm not sure it that is a good thing. Soon after there was a rather loud boom. A chunk of tree must of landed on the roof. Kind of reminds me that the tree in the back yard is something we really should remove. When we went out after it was over this branch was lying on the ground and some more of it was on the roof. It makes for a good story to tell. Just glad the electricity didn't go completely out.

it was very windy up here last night also. I like storms as long as I have power.
Wow, it sounds like you guys had quite the windy expeience. I'm glad only pieces of the tree fell.

I'm glad we dont have storms like that all the time. We had lots of little branches come down.
I hope we don't get to many more windy nights...or we could have some real damage.
