Sunday we then headed out with the boat to meet up with Lonnie and Cheryl and their family. After a slow start we finally got to the lake. We were about 2 hours late meeting everyone and then when we did finally get there, the keys we had for the boat didn't work. Luckily, Lonnie is Mr. Handyman. He bought another ignition, installed it with a Leatherman, and had the boat running in no time. We had a great time on the lake. Emma figured out how to go in and out of the wake while knee boarding and I was able to get up on skies the first time. I was surprised at how much skiing is like riding a bike. You really don't forget how to do it.The day ended though as it started with me cutting my foot on something and then getting a rock lodged up under the ball of my foot. I stopped off at the ER on the way home. They numbed me up cut out the rock, cut the skin off around it and bandaged me up. I figure the week can only get better.

Way to go Lonnie! I hope yoru foot gets feeling better in no time.
It really was a great day even if it started and ended a little rough. Can't wait to take the boat out again soon!!
