As I was having fun playing with the new "Computer Tricks" magazine I ran across this picture that Cheryl took of Emma when they went to the park one day without me. I was shocked at how grown up she looks. She's almost 10 and soon to be a 5th grader. Not much longer and she will be in my class. Not that I am trying to hurry the years, but it seems that the first 10 years have gone by so fast. I know it won't be long before I'm not so cool to hang out with. I really need to remind myself to enjoy these days right now.

Growing so fast
As I was having fun playing with the new "Computer Tricks" magazine I ran across this picture that Cheryl took of Emma when they went to the park one day without me. I was shocked at how grown up she looks. She's almost 10 and soon to be a 5th grader. Not much longer and she will be in my class. Not that I am trying to hurry the years, but it seems that the first 10 years have gone by so fast. I know it won't be long before I'm not so cool to hang out with. I really need to remind myself to enjoy these days right now.

You're right about how quickly the time goes! It is amazing they are almost 10! (We can't be old enough to have 10 year olds, can we?)
This brought tears to my eyes. She is truly growing up quickly and such a lovely young lady.
I LOVE this post it is so beautiful.
This is one of my favorite posts because it hits close to home. My oldest is 17 and my youngest 11 and they really and truly could function without me even in the house. I liked it better when they needed me. Yours daughters are adorable.
