Today after the sun finally broke through the fog, Cheryl, the girls, and I went for a walk. We started our walk with the plan to do a loop that would lead us through town. As we walked the girls needed something to motivate them so we told them we would stop by the park so they could swing for a few minutes. This park has been the city park forever. Even as a child, I went to this park to play. The equipment at this park was pretty old and rickety, so I haven't been taking the girls to this park for a while. When we arrived we were in for a pleasant surprise. The old stuff was gone and in its place a new, really cool play structure. The girls were ecstatic. Our few minutes ended up being a little longer and they still weren't ready to go. It was a great time with great weather. A very nice way to spend the holiday.

A New Discovery

You got some great pictures. The girls loved telling Lonnie about the park this evening. I think it was the highlight of their day. Yeah for holidays in January!

I am really glad the sun broke through in time for your walk. It has been foggy and icy cold here for the entire weekend.....with the exception of today! Looks like everyone had a great time.
