Learning from the "Mythbusters"

Jamie and Adam from "Mythbusters" were the guest speakers at the conference I went to this week. I enjoyed listening to them speak. As they talked I wrote down some things they said that stuck with me. I thought these were more like life lessons and not just science lessons. So I thought I would share.

1. enjoy the process - don't just focus on the end result, it's about the process and the challenges you face.

2. you will have to work with people who are different than you, the differences can be an asset.

3. Be collectors of skills

4. Love learning

We love the Mythbusters. This past summer out pastor a series of messages that used the Mythbusters' themes to debunk a lot of common misconceptions about being a Christian, and brought some of the Godly principles to everyday living. I am glad that you posted what you learned.....I am also glad you are back...I was wondering what happened to you!
